Best Thing I Ever Had.

Since high school, I have been waiting to enter college. I always wanted to be a college student; a serious student who would decide what to be in her life. As soon as I entered the college campus, the high school atmosphere was over and a serious period my life began.

It's awkward, really. Why? Call me weird. I just don't like being in a school on my first year having lots of people that I know. I want to start anew but I feel uneasy. It's like everywhere I go in the campus, I saw lots of people I knew way back. It's not that I don't want to see their faces. It's just that I want to be on my own.

I never wanted to be at my school right now. I've always dreamed of studying at Davao because all of my siblings studied there. But I guess, everything happens for a reason. Everything has reasons.

Unexpectedly, I met the best circle of friends that I have.

(first ever picture of us -- complete!!)

Best indeed. We have different attitudes but still mingle. We sometimes have misunderstandings but we try our best to still work it out. What I so love about our group is that we take time to have an open forum to clear things. We do it because we don't want epic scenes in arguing like shouting, etc. because that would be so immature and annoying. We're grown ups. We should try to talk about it, just between us, and not behind each other's back.

(Say 'Hi!' to Nowellah. She's crying
while reading our letter for her.
See that Spongebob? It's her
fav! That's one of our
surprises for her)

(Meet Glaiza. She's holding the banner we made. Made in a rush!)

(Hey it's Queeny! (or Quin) The above pic is our surprise for her.
On the second pic, she's holding the cupcakes we had for her!)

I love to see reactions whenever one has birthday and we surprise him/her. :) We always find way, no matter how busy we get, to plan something for someone in our group who'll be celebrating his/her birthday. (I'm always the organizer. Haha!) I must say I never experience these things before. Whenever someone has birthday, we just greet him/her, then wait if he/she would treat us or invite us to their place. But with my new circle of friends, it's different.

(Meet them! L-R: Febbie, Me, Jayanara, Jeferson,
Glaiza, Wea, Queeny, Nowellah & Hannah)

My mom would always tell me, "Surround yourself with good people." And I'm very happy, proud and most especially, blessed to have them around me. Even if we have different schedules this semester, I hope it will never be a hindrance for us to continue what we have started. Making this friendship of ours work is making God as the center of our relationship. We do have Bible sharing every Saturday. They are really good influences. Not being arrogant, but our group really excels in class.

Attending college for the first time has been a trying but great experience for me. The way in which you grow up, mature, and find out who you really are, is something you can't accomplish without going to college. College is a roller coaster of ups and downs, but having met great friends is making college one of the best experiences of my life.

ERF's will always be a part of me.

Blogspot

This is my first time on this. I mean, I have a blog but I have it on the other website, though. But I'm looking forward on exploring more things on this site. :)
